Daniel Sparks has been actively involved in the development of the cannabis industry since the early stages of the medical program in Colorado. His passion and attention to detail help him to excel in the field of cannabis compliance. Daniel's efforts help to inform software updates and changes that allow licensed cannabis businesses across theU.S. and abroad to remain compliant with the law. In addition to providing direction for maintaining operational compliance by government regulators, Mr.Sparks has played a pivotal role in identifying new markets, establishing relationships within new and existing cannabis programs and providing subject matter expertise to all relevant stakeholders as it relates to government seed-to-sale traceability and compliance across the full vertical.

In his prior role as the Director of Government Affairs at BioTrackTHC, Mr.Sparks responsibilities included interacting with state and federal government legislators, regulatory agents, and stakeholders, to regular involvement in reforming cannabis laws in order to protect the sustainability of the industry.During the nearly four years spent at BioTrackTHC, Mr. Sparks contributed to the company securing 7 of their 10 current government contracts for seed for sale tracking.

Mr. Sparks excels at developing strategic relationships, understanding highly-complex local/federal compliance requirements, positioning companies to acquire contracts, as well as providing commercial solutions in new and emerging markets, both nationally and internationally.
